Just FIVE months ago Kiev jumped his first fence. One month later he stepped into the hunter ring for the first time at Kentucky Blue Grass Festival walking off with Reserve Champion Open Hunter in a huge class of 75+ seasoned show hunters.
Prior to his Hunter debut Kiev had competed in  Dressage.  Our beautiful Show Hunter, Watch Me was being successfully shown by Kelley Farmer and we decided to pursue Kiev's amazing jumping talents and give him to Lane Change Farm.
Larry Glefke was taken by Kiev's natural ability and encouraged us to let his talents shine in the hunter ring. GromKiev is quiet and simple to the fences but dynamic and stylish in the air.  Kiev moves with suspension,  jumps with great classic style and shows tons of athleticism and scope to really shine in the Regular Working Divisions. His quiet nature and lovely rhythm makes it so easy to find a fence. Kiev's natural ability and winning style has won him excellent ribbons at Kentucky Horse Park, Littlewood AA, Winter Equestrian Festival, Wellington, Florida in the Green Conformation Divisions and ending up the 2006 Littlewood Winter Circuit Reserve Champion Green Conformation. Quite an accomplishment for a green horse in the toughest competition nationally, it speaks volumes for Kiev's outstanding athletic ability and kind and willing temperament. Ridden by Kelley Farmer/Photo at left by Jodi Cilberto.
GROMS' untimely death was a blow to the StillPoint breeding program.  GROMS' epitomized the elegance, power and athleticism which we strive to produce. He prepotently passed these qualities onto his offspring.
GROMS' Legacy continues with his stallion son GromKiev, affectionately known as "Kiev".

Renaissance is the highest scoring stallion ever in North America for the Oldenburg/ISR, receiving 9's on breed and sex type, free canter, and the style and technique portion of the free jumping score. He was awarded 8's on his walk, the trot, and overall impression and development in addition to several 8's among his conformation scores. His jumping ability was awarded 8's by the Hannoverian inspectors as well.

Renaissance is the grandson of the word-renowned Ramiro, an international show jumper and one of Europe's most influental sires. Ramiro is perhaps best known today as the sire of Ratina Z, the 1992 Olympic Silver Medalist and 1993 World Cup Finals Winner.

Furioso, Renaissance's dam's sire, decends from one of the most famous German foundation sires of all time, Furioso XX. Twice in Renaissance's pedigree is Der Loewe XX, the sire of 360 sport horses, four of which competed in the Olympics. All of Renaissance's foals have received premium foal awards. His is approved by the AHS, VhW, Oldenburg Verband, and the International Sporthorse Registry.
